Weekly rental period from Saturday to Saturday, Weekends possible (except high season and school holidays)


Prices include:
– Rental of the house with all necessary equipment
– Sheets (beds not made up upon arrival), one set of towels per person and dish-towels
– Water, gas, electricity, heating and wood.
– Unlimited access to the pool and garden
– Internet access


Our prices do not include:
– Tourist tax is not included in our rates
– Security deposit  (to overturn the day of the arrival and restored in the week following your departure)

– Cleaning end of stay

How to book

We required a 30% deposit at the reservation, the balance is due 1 month before arrival.

General Conditions for Seasonal Furniture Rental

 

1. Handing over of the keys

The Owners’ Representative will give the Tenant the keys of the accommodation on entering the premises.

The Tenant will keep the Owners’ Representative informed in case of late arrival.

The Tenant expressly undertakes to have fully vacated the accommodation by 10:00 a.m. on the last day of the rental period and to hand over the keys to the Owners’ Representative.

 

2. Security deposit

In the event of a contradictory inventory due to damages to the property and/or damages or loss of furniture, equipment and/or objects, the security deposit will be returned to the Tenant within a maximum period of one month after his departure, after deduction of the sums covering the damages to the property and/or damages or loss of the furniture, equipment and objects furnishing the accommodation caused by the Tenant, as well as the loss of keys.

If the security deposit is insufficient, the Tenant undertakes to pay the full outstanding amount immediately upon request..

 

3. Inventory

If the inventory of entry is carried out by the Owners’ Representative only and given to the Tenant upon his entry into the accommodation, it may be contested by the Tenant within a period of 48 hours following his entry into the accommodation. If the Tenant does not contest the inventory made by the Owners’ Representative and communicated to the Tenant upon entering the premises within this 48 hour period, the inventory shall be deemed accepted without reservation by the Tenant.

In the absence of an inventory at the end of the rental or if only the Tenant establishes the inventory at the end of the rental, the absence of dispute by the Owners’ Representative within 48 hours following the end of the rental shall be considered as the return of the premises in good condition and/or complete inventory.

 

4. Assignment and subletting

The present rental contract is concluded intuitu personae to the benefit of the sole Tenant identified at the head of the contract.

Any transfer of the present lease, any total or partial subletting, any provision even free of charge, is strictly forbidden. The Tenant may not make the premises available, even free of charge and/or by loan, to a person outside his household.

 

5. Obligations and liabilities

- The Tenant shall only occupy the premises as a private individual, the exercise of any profession is prohibited. The Tenant acknowledges that the premises which are the subject of the present contract are rented to him only as a holiday home and may not be used for any other purpose than a holiday. He expressly acknowledges that he has a principal residence and that he will maintain a principal residence for the entire duration of the present rental. The loss of the main residence without it being replaced may result in the termination of the present contract under the conditions stipulated in clause 7.

- The Tenant shall take out a multi-risk insurance policy to protect himself against rental risks (water damage, fire).

- The Tenant will be responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during the term of the contract in the premises which he/she has exclusive use of.

- The Tenant shall be responsible for the use of the swimming pool. Children under the age of 16 years are not allowed in the pool area without the supervision of an adult.

- The Tenant shall maintain the rented accommodation and return it in a good state of cleanliness at the end of the contract. If objects listed in the inventory are broken or damaged, the Owners’ Representative may claim their replacement value.

- The Tenant shall avoid any noise likely to disturb the neighbours, in particular those emitted by music, radio, television and other appliances.

- Tenants may unexpectedly experience situations such as power outage, insect infestation, noise from neighbours, traffic works, closure of shops or museums etc. The Owners/Owners’ representative can’t be held responsible or accountable for unexpected noise or other unexpected situations.

- The Tenant may not exercise any recourse against the Owners/Owners’ Representative in the event of theft or damage in or to the rented premises.

- The Tenant shall respect the maximum number of persons allowed to enter the premises, in accordance with the contract. It is forbidden to pitch tents or to park caravans or the likes on or beside the premises.

- The Tenant shall not object to the visit of the premises if the Owners’ Representative so requests.

- Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation. Ashtrays however are made available for smoking outside.

- The accommodation is equipped with a free WIFI internet connection. However breakdowns may occur due to different reasons. The Owners or Owners’ representative can not be held liable for any malfunctioning of the internet.

- Animals are not allowed in the rented premises without the prior written agreement of the Landlord. No animals will be allowed to enter the swimming pool. The Owner/Owners’ representative is not liable for any consequences of the fact that animals may be allowed in the rented premises.

- The charging of electrical cars is not permitted unless specifically agreed in front and on condition of an extra charge.

- Before departure the Tenant will make sure that :

                * All furniture is placed as it was on arrival

                * All equipment is clean and stored away

                * All bins are emptied and put in the containers

                * All dirty linen are stored within the provided linen bag (except the rented beach towels if any)

                * Any damage or loss to the equipment/furniture/ accommodation must be reported spontaneously.

 

6. Cancellation

In case of cancellation more than 30 days before the start of the contract, the Tenant remains liable for  the payment of 30 % of the full rent

In case of cancellation less than one month before the start of the contract, the Tenant remains liable for the full rent as a penalty clause.

In case of cancellation by the Owners/Owners’ Representative the full rent as received will be reimbursed.

In case no written cancellation is received, the full rental amount is due even if the accommodation is not used.

The signing of the contract is irrevocably binding on both parties.

 

7. Termination by operation of law

In the event of a breach by the Tenant of any of its contractual obligations, this lease shall be terminated by operation of law without refund. This termination will take effect after a period of 48 hours following a simple summons by registered letter or letter delivered by hand which has remained unsuccessful.

  

8. Election of domicile and Jurisdiction

For the performance of the present contract, the Owners/Owners’ representative and the Tenant elect domicile in their respective residences. However, in the event of a dispute, the court where the holiday home is located shall have sole jurisdiction. This contract and its consequences are subject to French law.
